Shruti Bujarbaruah is an accomplished Indian classical vocalist and playback singer, celebrated for her soulful renditions and profound understanding of Hindustani music. Born and raised in Assam, her musical journey began at the tender age of four under the loving guidance of her parents, Shri Munindra Bujarbaruah and Smt. Sangita Bujarbaruah. She holds the esteemed degrees of Sangeet Visharad and Sangeet Alankar from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow, reflecting her deep-rooted dedication to her art. While her foundation lies in pure classical music, Shruti’s mellifluous voice effortlessly traverses genres, from the delicate strains of Thumri and Dadra to the devotional cadence of Abhang and Bhajan, and the expressive charm of Ghazal. A versatile linguist, she brings the essence of music to life in Assamese, Hindi, English, Bengali, and Marathi.
